Introduction:

Justice & Civil Society Support Organization (JCSSO) is a national non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization JCSSO’s mandate is to seek a world of hope, tolerance and social justice; where poverty has been overcome and people live in dignity, justice and security. JCSSO stablished/registered with Afghan ministry of economy in 2009 as NNGO. JCSSO puts people rights including humanitarian principle, values, transparency and accountability in the center of all performances because we know that we cannot overcome poverty and social injustice until all people have no equal rights and opportunities JCSSO is aimed to tackle the humanitarian crisis including droughts and disaster prevention and develops community basic social Services needs for the Youth, Women, IDPs and poor rural community to reduce the level of poverty and contribute National Development Goals.

JCSSO Strategic priorities :

Strategic Priority 1: Empowerment of women and girls to lead in breaking the cycle of poverty and violence and gain control over economic resources and livelihood options to live a life with dignity. Strategic Priority 2: Ensuring sustainable food and nutrition security, promoting climate resilient sustainable agriculture and inclusive livelihoods for the people living in poverty and conflict. Strategic Priority 3: Building resilience of the right holders to conflicts and disasters and respond to humanitarian issues with people-centered rights based alternatives, including preparedness, adaptation and prevention. Strategic Priority 4: Increasing civic participation and state accountability through youth led advocacy for quality and gender responsive public services and fair distribution of resources.
